Nexus
Business inquiry privacy.
What the form collects
Business name, contact name, email, optional phone and website, selected service, short description, preferred contact method, submission date and notice version. We do not ask for attachments, passwords, payment details or sensitive records.
Why we use it
To review and respond to your inquiry, discuss scope and maintain a follow-up record. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. No marketing-consent checkbox or advertising tracker is added by this inquiry flow.
Where it goes
Inquiries are stored privately in the Nexus WordPress database and accessible only to authorized administrators. When notifications are enabled, our configured email service receives a notification with a private administration link and your reply-to address. Ordinary email replies pass through the email providers used by each participant.
Retention and requests
Initial inquiry records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. A longer engagement record, if needed, requires an agreed separate workflow. Restricted backup copies can remain until backup retention rotates them out; server and email logs follow their respective operational retention. Contact services@nxus.shop to request access, correction or deletion, subject to appropriate identity verification and applicable obligations.
Abuse controls and cookies
A first-party secure cookie lasts up to two hours to protect form submission. Short-lived keyed hashes count submissions to limit abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored in the form’s rate-limit records. Existing website cookies are described in the store cookie notice. This page supplements the existing site privacy policy for business inquiries.
Marketing preferences
Stop promotional email without logging in. A keyed hash of the email address is retained as a suppression record so future promotions can exclude it. The inquiry flow does not send promotional campaigns. Necessary replies about existing requests are separate.
Notice version: October 23, 2026. Engagement-specific data processing, insurance, registration and legal terms must be reviewed before accepting client work.
